Use case · Interviews & press

Find the quote in seconds, with the timestamp to check it.

Upload an interview or press conference and get a timestamped transcript, so you can search for the line you remember and jump straight to the moment to verify it.

The problem

The quote is in there somewhere.

Transcribing an hour-long interview by hand takes most of a day, and skimming the recording for one line wastes the time you'd rather spend writing.

A quote you can't verify against the tape is a quote you can't use.

How it works

Three steps from recording to text.

01
Add the recording
Upload the audio or video file, or paste a public YouTube or Vimeo link for a press conference.
02
We transcribe it
Every word is timestamped, and chapters split long recordings into topics.
03
Search and verify
Search the transcript for the line you remember and jump to the exact moment to check it.
What you get

From one recording.

Timestamped transcript
Every word with its time, searchable and exportable. Included on every plan, including Free.
Chapters
Long interviews and briefings split into titled topics.
Captions
SRT and VTT files if you publish video clips.
Translation
Transcripts of foreign-language interviews in your language (every plan, +1 credit per minute).
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Who can see my recordings?

Runs are scoped to your account. Outputs are sent elsewhere only when you configure a delivery. You can delete a run after it finishes processing.

How accurate is it?

Accurate on clear audio. Always check a quote against the recording before you publish it; the timestamps make that quick.

Can I try it first?

Yes. A free account includes 5 credits (about 5 minutes of audio), and the free YouTube analyzer previews the first two minutes of a video up to 10 minutes long, no account needed.

Try it on your next interview.
Create a free account and run a short clip, or preview a public video with the free analyzer.
