Frequently asked questions

What does it cost?

2 credits per minute of audio, charged on the real length rounded up to the minute. In most languages about 900 characters make a minute of speech; Chinese, Japanese and Korean take fewer.

Does it translate the text?

No, it reads the text in the language you choose. To translate first, use Extract text on a document, or the free Hear it in another language tool for short text.

Which voices can I use?

Four natural AI voices in all 48 languages. In English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese, also the voice library and your own voice.

Can I use someone else's voice?

Only your own voice, or one you have the speaker's permission to use. You confirm this when you add it, and you can delete it at any time.
