How do I turn a long document or book into an audiobook?

Open Read aloud in Presentr Analyze, paste the text (up to about 500,000 characters, around 9 hours of audio in most languages), choose the language and a voice, and download one MP3. Long texts are read in parts and joined. For a PDF or scan, pull the text out first with Extract text.

Step by step
01
Get the text
Paste it, or extract it from a PDF, scan or photo first.
02
Choose the language and voice
48 languages. In English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese you can pick from thousands of library voices or your own voice.
03
Download the MP3
One file for the whole text.
What it costs

2 credits per minute of audio, charged on the real length rounded up to the minute. In most languages about 900 characters make a minute, so a 90,000-character text is roughly 200 credits; Chinese, Japanese and Korean take fewer characters per minute.

Good to know

FAQ
Can it read it in another language?

It reads the text in the language you choose; it does not translate it. Translate a document first with Extract text, then read the translation aloud.
